The presentation of Lourdes Ill\u00e1n's new book in Valencia opened a space for reflection on how to accompany children in the discovery of the origin of life, love and the dignity of each person.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In June, the auditorium of Santa \u00darsula at the Catholic University of Valencia hosted the presentation of The three gifts<\/em>, the new book by Lourdes Ill\u00e1n, psychologist, expert in affective-sexual education and member of the Focolare Movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This book was born from the desire to offer families a tool to approach, in a gentle and serene way, one of childhood's most profound questions: where do we come from? Through simple language, the book invites children to discover life as a gift, the love that makes our existence possible, and the unique value of each person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, Lourdes Ill\u00e1n shared the experience she has accumulated over more than thirty years of supporting individuals, couples, and families. She emphasized the importance of parents being able to confidently fulfill their role as primary educators, creating spaces for dialogue where they can speak naturally about pregnancy, birth, sexuality, and love, integrating the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of the person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation concluded with a discussion in which attendees shared concerns and experiences about the challenges families and educators face today in sex and relationship education from early childhood. The contribution of grandparents and the entire educational community in supporting children's development was also highlighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
