The Focolare Movement joins in prayer for the health of the Holy Father.

The president of the Focolare Movement, Margaret Karram, has sent the Holy Father a message assuring him of her affectionate closeness and fervent prayers.

"I ask the Virgin to make you feel her maternal love and that tenderness that you always recommend us to have for the good of each neighbor and of each people.", wrote the President.

The international website of the Focolare has published the Luciana Scalacci's testimony, a non-believer who assures the Pope that "I never stop thinking and praying for you secularly. Please pray for me in a Christian way."

In Spain, members of the Focolare movement are also praying and offering for the Pope's recovery, supporting the various initiatives proposed by both the Vatican and local churches.
