“Our families have the capacity to bear witness, to announce, to heal the social fabric that surrounds them, because life speaks and acts on its own.” (Chiara Lubich)
If you are part of a family, a couple or simply have an interest in this field, we invite you to experience with us the charisma of unity. Here you can share experiences, learn and become a light that inspires others.
The ways to participate are varied and flexible:
- Through our communities, present throughout the territory.
- As parents of children and young people who are part of our activities.
- At special holiday gatherings, such as the Mariapolis.
- In training sessions, or specifically, through the New Families movement.
New families
This movement, described by its founder Chiara Lubich as “explosive, apostolic and diffusive”, is oriented towards the world of the family. It is made up of families committed to living the spirituality of unity and to radiating values that promote universal brotherhood in their environment.
Thousands of couples, married couples and engaged couples have found in this path a source of strength for their bonds, thanks to the love that springs from the Gospel lived. Their testimony becomes a beacon of inspiration for others, helping to extend this lifestyle to more families around the world.

New Families responds to the current challenges of families, following the spirit of Pope Francis's Amoris Laetitia. Beyond words, this response is born from the experience of many families who, with their daily witness and their involvement in solidarity projects, are contributing to renewing society.
