We are now approaching the International Day of Peace, which, in the current difficult global context, reminds us of our personal and community commitment, whether at school, university, parish, neighborhood, or within a movement.
On September 21, 2025, Living Peace International invites all students, youth ambassadors, and schools to join a global day of action for peace. The goal is to transform the UN call into local, concrete initiatives, showing that every small gesture contributes to a more peaceful world and that young people can be leaders of change. By acting together and sharing our experiences, we strengthen our collective commitment to peace.
We suggest ideas for activities, although any other activity can be perfect for the occasion:
Flags for Peace Ceremony: Organize a flag raising or display at school or in the community, accompanied by a moment of prayer or reflection, symbolizing unity between continents.
Youth Workshops for Peace: Conduct workshops or dialogues on conflict resolution, empathy, and intercultural dialogue, reflecting on local and global challenges.
Time Out for PeaEC – Special Focus: Dedicate a central moment, especially on September 21, to hold Time Out together, praying insistently and with renewed faith for peace in Gaza and for the resolution of all existing conflicts.
Social Media Campaign: Share videos, photos, or messages showing how participants contribute to peace in their everyday lives, using the hashtags #LivingPeace and #ActNowForPeace.
Creative Actions: Encourage students to create artwork, music, or drama inspired by the theme, showing how small gestures can generate ripples of peace.
Sharing and Networking: Publicize the initiatives carried out on the day or during the week of the International Day of Peace. Our strength lies in experiencing each action as part of a network, reinforcing our commitment. Every contribution, no matter how small, is essential and irreplaceable.
Global Connection: Collect photos and testimonies to share with Spain's Living Peace network, creating a visual map of peace actions around the world.
We invite you to join this challenge!
