The testimony of a dialogue that Luciana Scalacci lived with passion.

On June 13, 2025, the International Center of the Focolare Movement hosted a moving meeting in memory of Luciana Scalacci, who recently passed away. The event, entitled "Luciana's Legacy," sought to pay tribute to her valuable and decisive contribution to the path of dialogue, especially with and among people of non-religious beliefs.

Through personal testimonies and profound reflections, it became clear how deeply this dialogue is embedded in the DNA of the Focolare Movement and how many people without religious affiliation feel equally challenged and drawn to the ideal of universal brotherhood; a mutual enrichment that allows us to walk "with our feet on the ground" while at the same time living with our hearts oriented toward unity.

Those who participated in the meeting agreed that, thanks to this shared moment, a further step was taken toward understanding an aspect of charisma that is sometimes overlooked, but which is essential to making Chiara Lubich's dream a reality: "That all may be one."
