Forty-two young people from different parts of Spain participated in Murcia in a new edition of the San Pedro gathering. Under the color purple 1, a symbol of communication, they shared an experience where listening, dialoguing and living fraternity became something concrete.

Love unites, connects, and creates spaces where everyone can feel at home. This experience was the challenge set for the "San Pedro V – Violet Edition" gathering, held in Murcia on Palm Sunday weekend. Young people from different regions of Spain shared two days marked by fellowship, reflection, and communication understood not only as an exchange of messages, but as a path toward unity.
Inspired by the writings of Chiara Lubich and the Gospel phrase “that they may all be one” (Jn 17:21), participants explored how communication can become a concrete expression of mutual love. Social media, videos, interviews, personal encounters, and even simple conversations were experienced as opportunities to connect with one another and build community.

One of the most valued moments was the intergenerational dialogue. Several adults from the Movement shared their life experiences, and the young people responded with questions, creativity, and warmth. Age differences faded into the background, and a family atmosphere emerged where everyone could contribute.

The celebration of the Eucharist, the Stations of the Cross, and the online connection with the Gen Center in Rome 2They helped to broaden their perspective and feel a sense of belonging to a global reality that works for fraternity and peace.

The gathering concluded with shared tasks, songs, and spontaneous expressions of gratitude. Many were left with the feeling of having found a place to experience authentic relationships and a faith capable of engaging with the world today.
