Two powerful earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5, struck northern Venezuela on June 24, causing a huge number of deaths, missing persons and injuries, and significant material damage.
The Emergency Coordination of the Focolare Movement has launched an extraordinary fundraising campaign in support of the Venezuelan population.
The aid received will be jointly managed by Actions for a United World (AMU) and Actions for New Families (AFN), in order to deliver essential aid to the populations affected by the earthquake, including food, medical assistance, housing and shelter in various cities across the country, also in collaboration with local churches.
