More than 2,000 students, teachers, university students and local communities participated in Carlos Palma's visit to Andalusia; an experience that left a lasting impression of dialogue, listening and commitment to peace.
From May 6 to 15, Carlos Palma, founder and general coordinator of Living Peace International, toured Seville, Cordoba and Granada in an intense visit full of meetings, workshops and shared experiences.
During those days, he met with more than 2,000 students, from 3-year-olds to 18-year-olds, from 14 schools, along with their teachers and school communities. University students from Granada and Seville also participated in dialogues about education, fraternity, and peacebuilding.
One of the most significant moments was the unveiling of two large "Peace Dice" in Priego de Córdoba and Umbrete, visible symbols of a daily commitment to living peacefully in everyday relationships. The meeting with 90 teachers from the "Peace Space Schools" in Córdoba, united by their desire to educate through coexistence and respect, was also particularly moving.
The meetings with local communities in Granada and Seville left a profound impression due to their simplicity, warmth, and the power of the shared experiences. Throughout the visit, something became clear that particularly moved the participants: witnessing how the desire for peace can unite very different generations, from the youngest children to people over 85 years old.
These have been intense days, full of stories, gestures and encounters that continue to sow hope and fraternity wherever each person lives.
